EDUCATION
Educating and making the community aware of LGBTQ+ issues are just one way to promote our mission.  Reports from GLAAD have found that increased knowledge about LGBT people leads to lower levels of discomfort toward this community, and thus can reduce anti-LGBT discrimination.

There are an array of different events and programs students, parents and teachers alike can participate in to create a healthier school climate for all.

Dealing with the challenges of today requires problem-solvers who bring different perspectives and are willing to take risks. LGBTQ Olentangy emerged out of a pursuit to inspire and support the community, and a desire for actions to speak louder than words.
